The Darkness – Webster Hall – April 18, 2022
April 19, 2022
Inspired by the likes of AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses and Van Halen, the Darkness put out their seventh album, Motorhead, last fall. “No misplaced macho nonsense. No self-righteous pomposity,” declares PopMatters. “The Darkness hit the dress-up box hard, knock out some killer riffs and are laugh out loud funny while they’re doing it.” And with just a few dates remaining on their tour in support of the LP, the English rockers headlined Webster Hall on Monday night, filling the place with jubilant glam rock.
(The Darkness play Asbury Lanes in Asbury Park, N.J., on Friday.)
(The Darkness finish their tour at the Royale in Boston on Sunday.)
