Bowery Boombox, Vol. 17: KOKO TPC

At the heart of London’s music and cultural scenes, the recently revitalized KOKO music venue is now set to go global with the launch of the new international live show and content series KOKO TPC. The initiative will provide a platform for KOKO to champion essential UK artists on an international stage, as well as providing a taste of its famous atmosphere to brand-new audiences at leading venues across the globe. 

The first KOKO TPC event takes over Music Hall of Williamsburg on Wednesday with a show headlined by Kojey Radical. One of the UK’s most authentic and compromising creative forces, his critically acclaimed 2022 debut album, Reason to Smile, was nominated for the Mercury Prize. Blurring boundaries among rap, funk and spoken word, Radical’s multifaceted talents also find the artist boldly exploring fashion, art and film.

The show features special guest Rachel Chinouriri, whose myriad indie and alt-pop influences capture fervent youthful emotions with highly accomplished songcraft.
