Last year, dark alt-rock act Placebo put out their eighth studio album — and first in nearly a decade — Never Let Me Go, earning rave reviews in the process. They were supposed to come to North America in support of the new tunes in 2022, but for those assembled at a sold-out Brooklyn Steel on Sunday night, the tour was more than worth the wait.
