Minneapolis jazz and funk guitarist and singer-songwriter Cory Wong is prolific, putting out seven studio albums in the past two years. Having recently launched the second leg of the tour in support of last April’s Power Station, the fun-loving performer descended upon the Beacon Theatre last night with a stellar backing band, including bassist extraordinaire Victor Wooten.
